About the role

The Project Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects for a leading Supply Chain Solutions provider to the resources industries. Reporting to the National Projects Lead, the role requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with experience in project coordination, administration, contractor management, and financial oversight. The successful candidate will assist operational business functions and work collaboratively to achieve common goals, with the possibility of occasional interstate travel. This is an exciting and challenging role where flexibility and adaptability are essential, and you will have the opportunity to manage your own workload in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Coordinate internal teams and contractors, managing day-to-day activities and resolving project issues.
  • Maintain project documentation and reports, including financial tracking and updates.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to support business objectives and project goals.
  • Manage contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets.
  • Provide financial oversight, tracking project budgets and reporting on costs.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or contractor management.
  • Exposure to Prince2 project management methodology or equivalent.
  • Strong financial and budget management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
